Solana validators and GenesysGo partnership
Good day everyone. We are excited to announce our new partnership with a fast-growing Solana validator, GenesysGo. Apart from helping make the Solana blockchain safer, the platform also enables you to stake SOL and earn rewards in the process. The exciting part is that GenesysGo will be rewarding SAMO holders who decide to stake SOL on their platform. Furthermore, they will also be helping out our dev team a great deal by providing us with any RPC servers we need for our projects!
In general, validators play a key part in the whole Solana infrastructure, they are just as important as miners are for Bitcoin. One does not simply build the fastest and most innovate blockchain on their own, so Solana depends on many teams distributed all over the world to provide a high-performing and secure infrastructure. Apart from validating transactions, validators also enable earning reward through staking, but by far the most important characteristic is that all of them combined provide the essential decentralisation required to harvest the network’s full potential. By doing so they truly contribute to the system being permissionless and censorship-resistant meaning anyone can use the network and anyone can build on top of it. The result is a number of awesome projects built by truly creative people that benefit the whole community as well as the whole Solana ecosystem.
Partnership boosts for SAMO holders:
If you are a SAMO holder and are considering staking your SOL on GenesysGo read on! For every 1 SOL staked, SAMO holders will receive an additional 100 SAMO, with a maximum cap of 50% of SAMO they hold. A total of 10M SAMO tokens are available for rewards, and on top of that, you also get around 8% APY on your SOL for staking. At the moment of writing, that makes GenesysGo the top-performing validator in the Solana ecosystem! SAMO rewards will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
